July 18, 2008: Gretchen Walther was honored with the CLE Summit Award for her work on Ethics in Collaborative Practice at the annual CLE meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Spring 2008: Kathryn Terry taught Community Property Law at the University of New Mexico School of Law.

 

May 4 and 5, 2007: Gretchen Walther chaired the NMCPG committee for the Annual Symposium to train professionals throughout the state on Collaborative Divorce.

March 23 and 24th, 2007: Gretchen Walther was the chair of the NMCPG committee hosting an intermediate Collaborative Divorce mental health training which featured Peggy Thompson, Ph. D and Rodney Nurse Ph.D.

February 6, 2007: David Walther and Gretchen Walther presented at the Albuquerque Bar Association on Collaborative Divorce.

February 21, 2007: David Walther and Gretchen Walther  presented Collaborative Law for Commercial Disputes and Domestic Relations at the Oliver Seth Inn of Court, in Santa Fe, NM.

January 18, 2007: Gretchen Walther gave a presentation on the use of financial experts in Collaborative Divorce cases to the Albuquerque Estate Planning Council Meeting.

January 6, 2007: Gretchen Walther gave a presentation on stock options of privately held companies in divorce cases at the Law Education Institute in Aspen Colorado.

October 21st, 2006: Gretchen Walther gave a presentation at the New Mexico State Bar Family Law Institute on skills for lawyers in Collaborative Divorce cases.

October 21st, 2006: David Walther gave a presentation at the New Mexico State Bar Family Law Institute on Legal Ethics.

July 15, 2006: Gretchen Walther chaired the committee of the New Mexico Collaborative Practice Group to bring the nationally renowned experts of Collaborative Divorce, Peggy Thompson, Ph.D and Pauline Tesler, J.D. to New Mexico for an intermediate Collaborative Divorce Training and to promote their new book, Collaborative Divorce: The Revolutionary New Way to Restructure your Family, Resolve Legal Issues and Move on With Your Life.

May 5-6th, 2006: Gretchen Walther headed the organizing committee for the Annual New Mexico Collaborative Practice Group Symposium, a forum for training New Mexico professionals in collaborative techniques. Gretchen was also the plenary speaker.

March 7th, 2006: David Walther and Gretchen Walther presented the annual Family Law Update before the Albuquerque Bar Association.

April 14th, 2005: Gretchen Walther spoke on Breaking the Impasse in Collaborative Law Before it Occurs at the Spring CLE Conference in Austin, Texas.

January 4th- 8th, 2005: Gretchen Walther spoke at the prestigious Law Education Institute (LEI) Snowmass Conference in Aspen, Colorado. The LEI is the nation’s foremost provider of Continuing Legal Education, Legal Seminars, and Legal Conferences. Ms. Walther spoke on Collaborative Law
